My family sessions are the sweetest. We all teach our children not to talk to strangers, so it's obvious little ones won't perform and smile when meeting a photographer for the first time; be proud of them! They've learnt their lesson about strangers and have their guards up. It becomes my personal challenge to break down your little one's wall. In my questionnaire that I will send to you before the shoot, I will ask you what their favourite toy is, or their favourite game. And my focus is playing with them at first. Usually your little one will sit stiffly and give me a rigid smile. But I promise you, after these first few photos, after I've played their favourite game with them for 5 minutes, have chatted about their favourite toy and promised to play with them again before I leave, you will see their shell crack open and their shining personalities will explode.

And that's what I love about my family sessions. The time put into working with your little one, and truly feeling by the end of the session that I've made a little friend.
